“Waterless Print” Baby Measuring Crib Sheet {giveaway}
Written by Urban Sherp on December 28th, 2009
Who: Clare Chen
What: Baby Measuring Fitted Crib Sheet
Where: Supermarket – $40
Why We Love It: Function meets fashion in this clever design from Clare Chen. The fitted crib sheet has modern appeal with a fun and unexpected graphic design for baby in a great collection of colors.
Each ring of the circular ‘striped’ design ticks off another notch on the growth scale so you can keep tabs on your baby’s growth even while she sleeps… in whatever direction that happens to be. Comes complete with a footprint where you can measure your baby’s growing foot too. Function aside, we just think this it’s fun and certainly a conversation starter…
Even cooler, these 100% cotton sheets are dyed with a new dye technique called ‘UNI Color For Textile’ that uses a water-based pigment ink made from Nano-sized-pigment particles coated with a thin film layer of special binder polymer for a softer and less abrasive feel. The ink is applied to the sheet using an eco-friendly process called “Waterless Print” which cuts down on water consumption by 95% and curbs greenhouse gas emissions by 40%!
