The GreenShows Eco-Fashion Week in NYC

Exciting news! The GreenShows Eco-Fashion Week is coming to New York September 15-16. The show will feature eco-friendly, ethically sound and fair trade fashions from eco-conscious collections by designers Bodkin, Izzy Lane, Bahar Shahpar, House Of Organic, Lara Miller, Mr. Larkin, STUDY by Tara St. James with more to come.
The invitation-only 2-day event will take place at King of Greene Street at 72 Greene Street in Soho. The show is sponsored in part by the Rainforest Action Network who is working with fashion and luxury product companies to reduce the market demand for rainforest trees in packaging.
Efforts will be made to ensure the production of the event is eco-friendly as well with John Masters Organics as the official hair sponsor and the use energy efficient lighting and recycled, recyclable and compostable products when possible.
So far the schedule of events is as follows:
Tuesday, September 15
1PM: Study by Tara St. James
3PM: Bahar Shahpar
5PM: Bodkin (Presentation)
6PM-7:30PM: Opening Night event hosted by the Rainforest Alliance Network
Wednesday, September 16
11AM: Lara Miller
1PM: House of Organic
3PM: Mr. Larkin
5PM: Izzy Lane
