We love our local Whole Foods store because we can buy locally sourced produce, meats and dairy which in turn supports our local economy and also means that the food we eat hasn’t traveled thousands of miles to reach our table! When shopping for imported items like coffee and chocolate, we opt for Fair Trade  , shade grown beans and organic chocolates… Whole Foods has also recently added an Eco-Scale Rating System to rate household cleaners to inform consumers about the environmental impact of individual cleaning products.
