Karen Stewart and Howard Brown are true pioneers in the eco-fashion industry. They launched their Stewart + Brown line in 2002 with the desire to create organic and sustainable fashion without sacrificing quality.
They use only certified organic cotton, mongolian cashmere which is brushed from the underside of cashmere goats and contributes to sustainable economies in Mongoloia, and such green fabrics as tencel guaze, hemp silk charmuese, hemp jersey and linen using low impact methods in addition to salvage and surplus fabrics.
At least 1% of their sales are donated to non-profit environmental and social welfare organizations.
