Why We Love ‘Em: Two of our favorite things, brushed stainless and wine, all wrapped up in one! We have lost many a wine glass to the dishwasher, over-agreessive ‘cheers’ and the inevitable spill. So we thought what could be more eco-friendly than a durable chip-free stainless steel wine glass?
Great for picnics, pool parties or as your everyday wine glasses, they are tough enough for any dishwasher yet are incredibly light in weight and appearance. We just love the look of them and the idea of using such an unexpected, non-traditional material for our wine glasses. They make a great dual-purpose glass, keeping whites chilled longer than glass or crystal can and providing a generous rounded cup for the reds.
We are still waiting to hear back from the manufacturer regarding the eco-sensitivity of the manufacturing process, but in the meantime, if you are looking for an long lasting alternative to the standard glass wine glass, why not go stainless? And if wine is not your thing, they’ve got martini glasses, margheurita glasses and beer mugs in stainless too.
