When renowned designer Konstantin Grcic was asked by BASF to create a product using their new Ultradur High Speed plastic (something about organic nano particles and rheological properties… ), he rose to the challenge and created a highly awarded design coveted by museums and designers alike.
His design highlights the durability and strength of the highly efficient Ultradur (thanks to the low melt viscosity production energy costs are cut by 20% earned it the Green Efficiency Seal of Approval). He utilized the unique properties of Ultradur to achieve thin, but incredibly strong components minimizing the amount of materials required. Ultradur is incredible durable, 100% recyclable, fade resistant and impervious to hot and cold, so it is well suited for use indoors or out.
