Modern House for Air Plants

Who: My House Party – Portland, OR
What: Love House
Where: My House Party – $16
Why We Love It: Since our trip out to Oregon last summer, we’ve been fixated on air plants – a miraculous and beautiful spiky plant that could survive even the most inattentive gardener. Requiring no soil, hence the name air plant, you can ‘plant’ these mini-sculptures in dishes, shells or simply leave them lying in a nook to complete a display.
Or you could display them in their very own modern home. Spikes spill through open doors and windows and poke out through the roof. Reminds us of the modern Fish Hotel designed by Teddy Luong – makes us want a fish just so we can own one of these hotel blocks…
The air plant house is handcrafted from various woods sealed with an eco-friendly finish to provide a cozy, water-resistant, chemical-free home for your plants. Choose from five different house plans including the tall house, the wide house, the sill house, the tiny house and the love house.
