Durapalm is available as a plywood, flooring, paneling and veneer product and is suitable for commercial or residential applications.
The Durapalm plywood can be used for countertops, furniture, paneling, and cabinetry. Durapalm ranges in color from dark to medium-red mahogany. Durapalm plywoods can be cut to expose the flat, edge or end of the wood for a variety of exotic and unique finishes, especially since Durapalm accepts stains and finishes very well.

The Durapalm coconut-palm flooring, plywood and woven panels are all urea formaldehyde-free, which helps in qualifying it to achieve LEED points through the U.S. Green Building Council’s Leadership for Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) standards. They also recently introduced a new soy-based adhesive that is composed of 60% soy and will replace their current plywood adhesives in 2010. The new adhesive will be zero-voc for both the consumer and for the factory workers, meaning that there will be less off-gassing during the manufacturing process.
