Clever Rotating Electrical Outlet

So, this is  a bit of a stray, but just an example of thinking outside of the box and how one little adaptation can make a product a whole lot more useful. Take for example, electrical outlets. They’ve been around forever and really haven’t changed all that much, save for some updates in the safety wiring and one of my favorites–the flush square outlet. But this concept puts a whole new ‘twist’ on electrical outlets, yup, pun intended.

How many times have you tried to jam two phone chargers into the same outlet with no luck? Flipping them upside down but getting hosed by the big prong little slot (that didn’t come out right….)? Well, here’s a clever solution–a rotating outlet. Magically, each outlet is able to rotate 360 degrees so you can easily puzzle out how best to fit all of your block plugs in at once. The dual outlet works with standard outlet boxes and needs to be hardwired in or if you are not electrically savvy you can opt for the plug-in option, no wiring required. I just thought this was cool. Not really an energy saver, but they do have green surge protectors that can help protect you from vampire energy sucks.
