Children Inspire Design Print {pay it forward giveaway}

Written by Urban Sherp on December 22nd, 2009

CID_wallcardsWho: Children Inspire Design; Phoenix, AZ

What: Multi Language Number Wall Cards

Where: Children Inspire Design – $19 for a 5×7 set  or $32 for an 8×10 set

Why We Love It: print*pattern*paper has a new name (Children Inspire Design), a new website, and a new collection of prints. The new prints have the same playful, colorful collages we have come to expect from artist Rebecca Peragine, but the new Number Wall Cards let you share the gift of language with your child.  The cards are available in Chinese, English, French, German, Italian, Spanish or Swedish, so you can choose a language they know or introduce them to a new one.

This collection of 10 cards will brighten up a nursery or playroom or could even be just a hands-on tool for teaching kids their 1,2,3′s in any language. Each set comes with a collection of cards numbered 1-10 wrapped in a biodegradable cello package. The wall cards are reproductions of collages made from scraps of newspaper, magazines, wrapping paper and decorative papers, then printed on 100% recycled card stock with soy based inks.

In addition to her art, Rebecca has been an integral member of PEACE an organization that works with underprivileged communities in Mexico to revitalize parks and neighborhood gathering places in the hopes to improve the lives of the people, to build stronger communities and to promote environmental stewardship. To learn more about this incredibly inspiring project and how you can become involved, read about it on the CID blog.

    The Wild Flower Print would be perfect for my sister, who is my best friend! She is 10 years older than me and we have a special bond that will never be broken. We both enjoy flower gardening, something that we inherited from our grandmothers and our mom.
    Many thanks, Cindi

    Although everything is great, I would love to give the Spanish number wall cards to my 3 year old niece, she is already learning Spanish and Sign Language on top of English. I think that it would reinforce her learning.

    This is an easy one! I would “pay this forward” to my darling grandaughter, Lily. She is five and is already reading! I am so proud of her. I would chose the alphabet wall cards. I love doing anything positive that encourages reading and learning. Knowledge is the key to a happy life and that’s what I want for her. Since we live in Phoenix, Arizona, the natural choice would be Spanish. It’s spoken as much as English here.
