Why We Love ‘Em: For her whimsical accessories, designer Betsy Cross (Iya is her big sis and her muse) recovers vintage trinkets, forgotten stock and lost gems and breathes new life into them. Betsy definitely has an eye for pieces worth saving – even her studio is a collection of salvaged goods with reclaimed wood, display cases, desks and stands.
Each piece is vintage inspired, either salvaged or a reproduction, so there is a sense of history infused in each piece and wonder at its original story. The reproduction ‘love’ tokens are paired with hand-formed sterling silver ear clasps, good for those with sensitive ears. So, go ahead, dangle a little bit of love over your shoulders.
