A Treehouse Camoflouged with Mirrored Glass
Written by Urban Sherp on September 14th, 2009
Coolest treehouse ever! Talk about treading lightly on the land, this tree hotel located in Sweden hangs like a giant optical illusion with walls that vanish against the backdrop of the forest. The architects, Tham & Videgard Hansson, wanted to create a shelter that could be lofted among the trees. To do this they framed the structure with lightweight aluminum and cloaked with walls of mirrored glass that act as a camoflouge. It is like an optical illusion. The interior living space was created out of plywood and has a compact layout that houses a bed for two, a living room, a bath, a kitchenette and a viewing terrace. And not to worry, no birds will be harmed, there are UV stickers on the walls that only birds can see. Seriously magic.

That must be the coolest thing I have ever seen! I’ve always wanted a tree house of my very own!
