The color board itself is beautiful exposing the rich grains of the bamboo contrasted with a bold band of color. It was so beautiful, we found ourselves a bit hesitant to make the first cut which led to the discovery that in addition to a seriously durable cutting board, it makes for a great laptop surface too–bonus!
